Homebound Program
"Books to Go"

The Homebound Program is for St. Petersburg library patrons who are homebound and are no longer able to come to the library on their own but want to continue reading books.   Our volunteers will choose books for you, with your preferences in mind, and deliver them on a monthly basis.   We offer large print and regular print books from our collection.
Call the Main Library at 893-7724 to register or
for more information.

For those who enjoy audio books, the library offers Downloadable Audio Books that can be enjoyed by those individuals with Internet access.   For more information, click on the Downloadable Audio Books link on the left side of this page.

Additionally, the Homebound Program is always looking for volunteers to help deliver books. If you have some spare time, your own transportation, and would enjoy delivering books to those who like to read, please consider becoming involved in the program. To volunteer with the Homebound Program, call the Main Library at 893-7724 and ask for the program coordinator.
