Listed below are computer classes currently offered at
our library branches.
If you are interested in taking any of these classes,
please call the branch to register.


Basic Computing
 

West Community - 6700 8th Ave. North      341-7183
Fridays - 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. - "Supervised Computer Lab."   First come, first served. Come with your problems and questions. Staff will be available to help. Topics include, but are not limited to: Email, Internet, Microsoft Office products, online government services, job hunting, ANGEL, & FAFSA assistance.

•Tuesday, May 22 at 11:30am -Google Docs- Learn how to create a document, presentation or spreadsheet and share them with others via the web. All registrants must have valid PPLC library card & basic computer skills. Registration required, please call 727-893-7724.

Thursday, June 14 at 11:30 am- Your Online Job Search - Learn how to use the web to locate job postings and apply online. Bring your saved resume file and email address to begin your applications.
Thursday, June 21 at 11:30 am-Job Skills Development- Use the library's Learning Express Library database for online career preparation including certification and aptitude tests and skills review.
Thursday, June 28 at 11:30 am- Social Media and Your Job Search- Find out how to maximize your job search using social media sites and networking.
