Listed below are computer classes currently offered at
our library branches.
If you are interested in taking any of these classes,
please call the branch to register.


Basic Computing
 

West Community - 6700 8th Ave. North      341-7183
Fridays - 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. - "Supervised Computer Lab."   First come, first served. Come with your problems and questions. Staff will be available to help. Topics include, but are not limited to: Email, Internet, Microsoft Office products, online government services, job hunting, ANGEL, & FAFSA assistance.

One-on-One Internet Training

Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m.
Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Thursdays at 2:00 p.m.

Using Library Resources

•Introduction to Overdrive: Tuesdays, 11:30 am and 6:00 pm - Learn how to access the library's e-book and audiobook collection through our Overdrive service. During this 30 minute class, we'll browse the collection and learn how to request and checkout titles. Bring your library card! (Please note that we will not be downloading items to your e-reader or mp3 player during the class.) Pre-Requisite: Basic web browsing skills required.

•All about Business: Thursday, February 9 & February 23 at 1:00 pm - Learn how to find business information using the library's online resources during this 45-minute class. Don't forget your library card! Pre-Requisite: Basic web browsing skills required.
